State of the Nation: Uterine Cancers 2025 Report
A national roadmap to reduce the rise of uterine cancer and save lives
The State of the Nation: Uterine Cancers in Australia 2025 report is Australia’s first comprehensive national analysis of uterine cancers. Drawing on the latest national data, clinical evidence and lived experience, this evidence-based report explores the risk factors, diagnosis, treatment, outcomes, projections and survivorship of uterine cancers across the country.
It reveals a confronting story of rising incidence and mortality, highlighting the growing economic and social impact of the disease and the urgent need to address gaps in research, awareness, and access to best-practice care and support. Importantly, the report also charts a way forward. It identifies priority actions to strengthen prevention, drive earlier detection, improve treatment and deliver equitable care, providing a national roadmap to stop the rise of uterine cancer, improve outcomes and save lives.
Transforming outcomes will require united and collaborative action from governments, researchers, clinicians, industry and the community, to deliver the innovation, equity and support that Australian women deserve.
