Open to recruitment PORTEC-3 Randomized phase III trial comparing concurrent chemoradiation and adjuvant chemotherapy with pelvic radiation alone in high risk and advanced stage endometrial carcinoma.
This is an open, multicenter GCIG trial of the Dutch Cooperative Gynecologic Oncology Group and the Endometrial Subgroup of the UK National Cancer Research Institute. Patients with either FIGO stage I or 2 endometrial adenocarcinoma with high-risk features or stage 3 endometrial carcinoma who meet the inclusion criteria will be randomised (1:1) to one of the following arms:
1. External beam pelvic radiotherapy (control arm)
2. Concurrent radiotherapy and chemotherapy followed by chemotherapy (experimental arm). Click here for more information
