Improving life for women through cancer research

'we want women in Australia and New Zealand
to have the latest and best treatments for gynaecological cancer'

The Australia New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group is the national peak organisation for gynaecological cancer clinical trials in Australia and New Zealand. It is a not-for-profit and since establishment in 2000 has conducted 20 trials with more than 3000 patients at over 50 hospitals.

Our aim is to improve the outcomes and quality of life for women with gynaecological cancers. Apart from clinical trials, we do this by involving patients and cancer survivors and the community in outreach programs and trial development. We also exchange the latest in clinical practice at the Annual Scientific Meeting, provide professional education and publish research results.

You will find information on gynaecological cancer clinical trials currently recruiting participants and what it means to take part in a clinical trial.  Also the best links for gynaecological cancer support and cancer fact sheets. This resource is for people affected by gynaecological cancer and their family and friends.

ANZGOG is also a membership organisation for cancer professionals. Information on clinical trials, training resources, trial updates and international research papers in the member section. Become an ANZGOG member for access.

It can cost as little as $1,000 to help a woman participate in a clinical trial
