Group Objectives:
-
to encourage the community to participate in the conduct of clinical trials in
gynaecological cancers;

to promote the use of clinical trials in evaluating new treatments in
gynaecological cancer in an effort to improve the standard of care and outcomes
of women with gynaecological cancers;
-
to promote and conduct medical research for the prevention and treatment of
gynaecological cancers;
-
to improve clinical practice through professional meetings and educational
symposia by working in collaboration with professional societies to pursue the
objectives in 1-3 above;
-
to promote public education and awareness of clinical trials in gynaecological
cancer;
-
to widely publish the results of research;
-
to act in an advisory capacity with regard to the management of gynaecological
malignancy in Australia and New Zealand.
